Dr. Agan is a true anomaly on OCs campus: a brilliant, female professor who is truly inspiring. Through her class I feel like I improved as a writer, as well as a communicator. Cares about her students, especially the ones she knows are trying. Great english professor!

She is a really great teacher! She is very passionate about literature and that is partly why this class is hard. I'm an international student and I sometimes has problems since some of the assignments require small details. However, she is always there to motivate you so it is not that crazy. The tests are not hard: just pay attention in class.

Dr. Agan is brilliant. I love her. The class was extremely challenging, but I emerged a far better writer and with an much bigger appreciation for art and literature. She is certainly not an easy teacher, but if you work hard you will get more out of her class than nearly any other. Definitely one of the most valuable faculty at OC.

I believe I took her course the very first year she began teaching at the university...and even then, she was one of the greatest profs I've ever had! She's a femanazi. If you don't care about literature, don't take it with her! You'll fail! If you like Literature, this class will be fine. You will have to do work either way. This was one of thoes classes I was scared to death to attend, but had to in order to pass. Very organized. Never ever make a mistake in her class, or she'll hate you!
