Camilla was by far my best prof I've had at MUN. She's very considerate and understanding, and her teaching methods are great. She felt like a second mother to me. She was very supportive and outgoing and she wants you to succeed. Amazing prof, I would take her again in a heartbeat if I could.

Camilla was very friendly and put the effort into learn who the students were but thats the only nice things I can say. Favoured french-immersion students and taught at their learning level. Often treated students like they were in high school and forced everyone to participate and even right on the board. Avoid if you can!!!

Very biased. If are comfortable with french she will pass you, if you struggle or have any personal life issues she is very uncaring. Not an empathetic woman.

Worst prof i've had at MUN. Incredibility rude to students who struggled, and the study guides are nowhere near the real exam. Would never recommend.

Camilla is a very helpful professor. She replies quickly, explains things clearly, and gives every opportunity to get an A (i.e., practice exams, online classes, conversation classes, and study guides). I loved attending the online classes and participating in the activities and discussions.

I had a 90+ average in French in high school. But with Camilla I practically failed everything. She is a very unfair marker and very unclear with what she wants done. Would not recommend and would never take again.

I had her for French 1500 through Distance and she was awesome! I attended class all the time just to keep up with the course, but it's not mandatory since she records her classes and posts them online. There's a nice bit of work, but overall she is a fair marker and a great teacher! I recommend her if you are willing to put in time and effort! :)

Camilla is a very organized professor. She is clear about what she expects of you in the course and it is very clear that she has a passion for French. She definitely wants her students to succeed. With that being said, I found her to be a little fast-paced! There's so much to learn in this course, it was hard to keep-up!

I found that its clear Camilla loves her job, however, I took the course by distance because I was unable toattend regular classes due to my complex work schedule and she was very non-understanding of this. Isn't that the whole point of a distance course?? To be able to do it when is convienent for you.

Excellent, excellent professor! She is organized, clear, concise and very helpful. She expects students to work hard and show some effort but she is also always willing to assist students with course material, give extra examples, and revisit problem areas. She replies to emails quickly and returns marks promptly. I highly recommend her!

After 3 years of distance courses, Camilla is the best prof I've had yet. It's clear she likes what she does, and I feel she truely wants students to succeed. She is clear about what will be on all tests and exams. This being said, don't expect great marks if you don't practice the lessons or skip all of the online classes.

I do agree she was a good prof. She put a lot of time and interest into her course. However, I found she had a bad attitude and it really put me off from French. I really improved in writing and understanding, but I found her unsupportive attitude in my speech really turned me off from the course.

She is extremely helpful and fair. Her tests are exactly what she tells you and what you would expect. The interviews were my down fall but she made them as easy as she could by giving you all the possible questions. There is alot of work in this course but I think its just so she can truly grade you!

I found Camilla Stoodley to be an extremely organized professor who prepares her students well. She is well equipped for her lectures and is very efficient when it comes to answering e-mails and returning evaluated work to students. She is one of the better professors I've had in the department of French/Spanish.

She is a good prof. I think her expectation level of the amount of time and work you can do in her course is way off for first year courses. She does offer several different additional online aids for learning and practicing french but I think forgets that most students are taking other courses and most likely working at the same time.

Relatively easy class, and prof very easy to understand. Everything is important for midterms and exams, but if you attend class and read the textbook you'll do fine. She will take the time to help and explain something if you do not understand. If you do not go to class, she is much less likely to help you, and rewards those that fo to class.

Camilla is a great prof! I had her for summer semester, and ill admit i HATE french! I needed it as an arts requirement.Camilla made it really interesting and easy to learn. Gave us lots of practice things to do online, and posted everything on D2L! Crazy marker, like marks up the next day! I must admit, it was an enjoyable course.
