I am not a math person and failed mth103 3 times before taking her. She is an amazing professor. Covers everything in detail and shows all the steps. Takes the time to go over everything again in office hours if you don't understand. She really explains everything very well so even not math people like me can understand! Strongly recommend!

Wonderful professor. Gives detailed notes, very clear lectures with lots of examples. She is very willing to help and takes the time to go over ever detail with you if you come to office hours. Really cares about students.

Best professor I ever had. Really cares about the students and will do anything to help you succeed. Gives detailed examples of everything you need to know in class and shows many examples. Always encouraging students. If you are willing to try, you will succeed.

By far the best most caring teacher I ever had. I took this class twice before and failed. She had very detailed notes and let you know exactly what you had to do to succeed. Math is hard for me but the gave many very helpful assignments that prepared you well for the tests. She will help you with anything and is very encouraging. Great lecture ex

I really would love to meet the people who liked her. You all must have substantial math levels before entering her class. She will not teach you, she will write the notes on the board faster than you can read and erase them before you are done, she will not give any slack even if a real reason is giving for your difficulties. RUN AWAY!

Her hand writing is very sloppy and hard to read, I reccommend sitting in the front of the class. She does a good job at sending out emails before every class with reminders. Make sure you do the online homework and keep it in a notebook for studying. I bascially taught myself all of the material

She atleast speaks clear English! The math dept. at MSU is hard, and Candy is a nice lady but if you want to get a 3.5 or better, good luck. She lectures way too fast, but if you can teach yourself calc than you'll do alright.
