Rotello is a wonderful woman; she is fair, always available and willing to help. Her teaching can be tough on those who are not intuitively strong in math. She tends to teach the concept and very little of the process. I think the class would benefit more if she put up a problem each class, allowed everyone to work it out and then go over it after.

Very thorough. Heavy work load, but one can see the value in it. Has a lot of knowledge in the subject area, and explains concepts very well. Overall, Caren is a very effective teacher.
