Comment:

Ms. Karle is a wonderful professor. The online course consisted of quizzes, discussion boards, and essays of course. Be consistent in her class, as well, make sure to look over your rough draft when she makes comments. She makes you work for your grade, but I promise she makes you a better writer. Shes very passionate about her job. Stay on top.

Comment:

I took her online summer class and yes it is a lot of work, however, Ms. Karle is one of the best English teachers at Reedley College. She genuinely cares about the students in her class. She takes extra time to make sure everyone understands the concepts. She meets with students on her own time to help them on there papers.

Comment:

I took this class online during summer school! So obviously heavy workload but she gives you the time to work. A lot of reading and must take around 4-5 hours a day mon-fri to get work done and give yourself sat and Sunday off. Ms. Karle gives lots of feeback on her drafts and if you follow her advice you'll see the difference in your final paper.

Ms. Karle is one of the best English teachers at Reedley College. She genuinely cares about the students in her class. She takes extra time to make sure everyone understands the concepts. As long as you attend and listen you should have no problem in her class.

Comment:

Assigns discussion board entries and quizzes weekly. Quizzes are short and easy. Grades hard on papers but beforehand she has students peer review them and gives you the opportunity to revise essay for a better grade. Made us work in a group once to give us an idea on how to do the assignment by ourselves after that. Great teacher!

She was an amazing professor. I learned a lot from her, she isnt a tough grader but she is picky but in a good way. The feedback was extremely helpful. Her sense of humor was a bonus. Overall an amazing professor.

Her feedback is very rude. Uses too many exclamation marks when speaking to students. She expects too much on the essays, and judges harshly. If you are not a great writer then it will be difficult to pass the class since they are 55% of the total grade.

Being in an English writing course I didn't expect to read such boring articles and books and then write about them. The professor was too picky on what we wrote about. She asks for plenty plenty of detail, yet she'll call it plagiarism. But other than that you'll learn a lot in class and she tries to be funny but no one laughs only herself.

I took Ms. Karle for English 125. She is a very tough grader when it comes to essays, but she is always willing to help. She is very organized and always makes students work in groups which gets annoying! She always tries to make everything a joke and ends up laughing alone. She is a good instructor however, you will learn a lot if you take her.

She is a great teacher but grades VERY tough. You will learn in her class. The online class is very different and seemingly more demanding. If English is not your strongest subject I recommend an in person class. There is a lot of reading and writing involved. Wont be taking another English class though. Don't need to do any more writing!

Comment:

Teacher is very organized. This was my first online class and I'm glad I took it with her. It is not easy, but English 1A is not an easy subject. I am not experiencing a lot of bad online teachers, so I'm going back and appreciating my previous online teachers that made it easy for me to plan my assignments around work and other classes.

Ms. Karle is a very good teacher and loves Literature. Her class is pretty hard but you will come out of it a much better writer. She's pretty picky when grading the essay's so make sure you listen to her instructions and critiques. Every other assignment is pretty easy.

Ms. Karle is a great teacher! I hate writing but she showed me my strengths and weaknesses so I could work on them. The class was very hard (condensed online summer course) but she was very clear and helpful throughout. My grade started dropping half way through so I reached out to her for personalized help, which resulted in my passing with an A.
