Comment:
Carl Peters is the worst teacher I've ever had! He constantly goes off topic and doesn't have a clear grading scale He talks about himself nonstop when he should be teaching. He is biased on grading, if he disagrees with your thesis prepare to fail your essay. I don't know why he became a teacher when it seems like his sole purpose is to fail you!

Comment:
Carl likes the experimental stuff, which is refreshing at UFV. The texts are difficult, but valuable. Carl also likes to talk, but what he has to say is usually extremely interesting. He does not put up with dismissive attitudes. His lectures can be confusing, but he will meet outside of class to help and recommend further, wilder reading.

Comment:
Carl focused more on his own writing work than helping the students to be better writers. The lectures were not helpful and I found it hard to stay focused without any class interaction. Essays needed to be what he wanted to hear and different opinions were given lower grades. I would not take a class of his again.

I was so excited to take this class but I feel as though I learned next to nothing. Carl means well and he is genuinely interested in what he's doing but he's just not well grounded. I am now considering switching to a Psych major because of this class.

Carl is brutal. If he wants to subvert the system, great, but he shouldn't do so when people are paying money to be there. Oh well, now he can fight the unemployment system!

Tried really hard to like Carl, but he's so scattered and incomprehensible. Will also avoid you if you 'pester' him for constructive feedback. Grading system nonsensicial and many students took their concerns to the dept.

I am disappointed with those of you disrupting this highly scientific rating system. Like his degree, Carl needs to purchase a personality.

This guy marks hard if you try to make a good paper, best way to an A, use big words that he might not understand and then try to write a paper that is as intangable as his lectures.
