Dr. DP understands that you're a college student and that you have other classes, so he keeps Physics short and sweet. He's direct and to the point, which makes this class really easy, but you're also learning. If anyone has taken Physics 131 he's kind of like Heath Hatch. 10/10 would recommend this class.

The TBL/flipped classroom format was not for me, but he did the best he could to make it work and valued student feedback. He was patient and generous, and clearly wanted everyone to do well. Explains concepts well and is clear, nice and approachable, plus he brought his dog on the last day! Take physics with him!

Carlo is an awesome guy and you can tell he really cares about his students. That said, I didn't like the way he taught this course. He did not show much understanding, and did not impart much intuition in the students. I would've liked it if he went about teaching this course more rigorously, and filled in where Griffiths neglected to.

Physics 120 is a great choice if you want to learn about interesting phenomena but have little knowledge of Physics. It is basically theoretical and consist of one lecture highlight per week, a midterm paper and a final paper, no tests. Class isn't that hard, but you have to be interested in it to do well. Avoid if no interest whatsoever.

This class is extremely interesting, and might be the most interesting class I will ever take. If you want to learn about Black Holes, the Universe, and the Big Bang, take this class! Lecture slides are online, but classes are interesting. No exams, all written papers and he grades decently. It's very easy to get a B+, not too hard to get a A-

Carlo is a really nice guy, and although I did not attend his office hours, you can tell he really cares about his students. The material taught in the class is slightly more advanced than 151, but the tests are easier than the ones in 151 (I used to look at my engin major friends' tests). The problem sets help, so make sure you finish them.

Carlo is a great professor for this subject. Although well below his expertise in physics, he gives great attention to the matter he teaches and teaches it thoroughly. He is extremely approachable and, as mentioned, really cares about his students and his class. Ask him about multidimensional space some time.

He's an awesome prof. I highly enjoyed his class. He was always willing to explain things over again & is a very fair grader. He is encouraging, kind & very approachable. He seems to really care about his students & helping them succeed. The work wasn't too hard but the tests were tough. Overall he's a great teacher who I would love to have again.

Carlo is nice and kind. He is soft spoken. He lectures using chalk so it's easy to take notes with him. First half was special relativity and second half was quantum mechanics. I learned a lot from the course and felt prepared for modern physics 2. Responded to all my e-mails in depth. Very smart, natural teacher for this subject.
