Ardavin is very nice, but I felt like my Spanish learning plateaued in his class. The previous semester I had a professor that challenged us a lot and I learned a lot. Ardavin in my opinion goes too easy on the students and it hinders learning. Take him if you are just in it for the credit. If you want to learn, take someone who will challenge you.

Dr. Ardavin is the kindest man ever. This class is SO easy, you just have to participate and put in a VERY MINIMAL amount of effort outside of class. Ardavin gives extremely easy homework and his tests/quizzes are really easy. He's all about learning, not about grades. And even though the class is easy, you'll learn by paying attention. TAKE HIM

TAKE PROF. ARDAVIN IF POSSIBLE. He's fun and goofy and you actually LEARN in this class. He's not worried about your grade, the stuff he assigns is really easy, he just wants you to understand and get it! Sweetest professor and GREAT teacher.

So cute, sweet, funny, and empathetic. Asks us how our weekendvacation was and how our workload is, and literally schedules testsdue dates after asking us which day we'd prefer. He explains the material well, gives study guides, and is really relaxed and flexible, but still perfectly organized. Do the reading, participate, he'll love you.

Dr. Ardavin is one of the most kind souls there is. He is very passionate about teaching Spanish as well as keeping his students and classes engaging. He is very understanding and wants everyone to succeed. He does not pick on anyone and encourages everyone to speak up in class. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ardavin.

Dr. Ardavin is an awesome teacher! He is so patient with kids who struggle, and is very encouraging to the kids who are doing well. He understands we are learning a new language, so he is very articulate when he speaks which really helps learn the language.

Dr. Ardavin is AWESOME! The sweetest man you'll ever meet, and a really great teacher. Always very patient and extremely helpful both in class and in office hours. Almost always homework, but definitely not hard if you keep up with the readings. I recommend him and would definitely take another class with him!

I am just about to finish his Special Topics Post-Franco Spain class. I have LOVED my other classes with him, but this one has been a struggle because of the absurd amount of reading assigned for each class. I would only recommend taking this class if you are in NO other reading classes. I have spent on average 6 hours doing homework for each class

I'm currently in Advanced Grammar with Ardavin. The first day of class he says class is going to be really hard, but it really isn't at all. He goes over the material until everyone understands it, and will change deadlines if you have a conflict. His tests are not too hard. Just understand the topics he goes over in class well. Nice guy.

The best professor I've had at Trinity. He is interesting, funny, and really gives a**** about his students in a way that is uncommon. I think he is due for some serious promotion and cash bonuses--this guy tries hard to make you care about the topics as much as he does. Also, so cute in everything he does. This guy is adorable.
