This class was very challenging for me because I had to find a tutor to do well in it... oftentimes it was difficult to understand her ALTHOUGH she is extremely funny, entertaining, and nice. She even gave us cookies every friday to nibble on while solving equations! Get outside help once a week and you can get an A in this course

Such a sweet lady but such an awful instructor. Unless biostatistics stuff is review for you, you'll be teaching it entirely to yourself. Lectures are scattered at best and the book isn't particularly stellar at explaining concepts and procedures. She takes roll so you have to go even if it you're just as lost as you were before class.

She is very sweet and perhaps one of the most brilliant professors at Pepperdine. Her classes are full of intense note taking and her tests can often be difficult, but she is very helpful one on one and I could go see her for office hours for more personalized help. An excellent person and teacher; just don't think you can skip class and do well..

Professor Adjemian is awesome! I love her :) She is so nice and friendly, and she may seem a little odd at times, with the funny comments she makes during the class time. But prior to her class anything involving numbers was one of the most dreaded things for me; yet she made it better. She is helpful, but the class is not easy.

Terrible teacher. Going to classes is usually pointless, because if she even gets around to actually teaching something, you wont understand it. Because she is terrible at explaining the material. Prof. Adjemian is the first math professor I've ever had that honestly cares about her student's performance. I have never understood any form of math very well but was very happy with how much she was willing to help me catch on. Very helpful during class and her office hours and she provides study guides for her tests. One of my favorite profs

She is a difficult teacher if you are not good at working through problems on your own. She is very helpful if you go into her office for one on one time, but in class and on homework she makes you work out the problems on your own with minimal explanation. This is good because if you get it right it means you really learned it.

I'll preface this by saying she's a very, very nice woman. That being said, do not take her class under any circumstance. She moves far too quickly and does not teach the material. Her tests are very difficult, and she expects you to learn the material on your own. She's a bad teacher. She's boring. Her tests are too hard. NOT A GOOD COMBO.

brilliant woman but that tends to limit her teaching. she speeds through problemsand most of the time no one knows what she's doing. do homework early and you can go to her office to check your methods. she is EXTREMELY helpful one on one. case in point - if you care enough you can do well but if you aren't willing to work you will fail.

She was the only math teacher that I ever had who made me like it. It was hard at times, but I got an 'ok' grade at the end- high B. She is an amazing person too, and is always willing to help you outside the class. Advice- as soon as you don't understand something, immediately go talk to her!

She is really smart, but horrible at transferring the information. I pretty much stopped going to her class because it wasn't doing anything for me. In her class, basically all you do is watch her do math problems EXTREMELY quickly. Not a good professor (but for the record, a very nice lady).
