Professor Auster is amazing! A reading intensive class but the material is pretty interesting. Class participation is huge and she loves to hear your feedback. GO TO HER OFFICE HOURS! It's amazing what you can learn about a prof if you just take 20 minutes to sit and talk with them. Truly cares about her student's wellbeing.

Personally she rubs me the wrong way as a person, but as a professor, she definitely knows her stuff. She can be a little intimidating but don't let her scare you. She's not always the most helpful in office hours though, but it couldn't hurt to go. Class participation is HUGE in her class, so raise your hand ALOT

Really Nice!. Class discussions are interesting. In addition she post screen-cast online which are very helpful. Her study guide are just like the exam. She gives you the essay questions for her exam before the exam. I studied for her exam 1 hour before and still passed.
