Carol is an amazing teacher. She gives the best lectures and if you go to all of them you don't have to read the textbook. I know people in my class who would skip every other class except hers because they are that useful and she is that entertaining.

Comment:

One of the most funniest, most entertaining and most helpful teachers I have ever had. Laughs alot and has fun during lectures but still makes sure everyone understands the material, gives very good notes and practice tests to prepare you for exams. Emailed us to tell us we passed the midterm only 3 hours after we wrote it!

Carol is the most engaged & passionate teacher at BCIT. She really knows her subject matter & really wants us to understand it well. Her tests are challenging, but studying for them forces you to learn the material well. Giving us a cheat sheet & MC questions in advance is great!

Best teacher by far I've had at BCIT. Engaging, interesting lectures. Really wants you to succeed. Available at all times of the day to go over questions (even some for other courses). Actually would return e-mails by phone call the weekend prior to the final exam to ensure students were comfortable with the material. Exceptional.

Caro is the best ever! She really cares about her students & always goes the extra mile for them. Her lectures are the best -- funny and so interesting. Best of all there is no useless textbook. I love Carol, she really wants you to learn, understood every type of concept she throw out. I learned more from her than I probably did in my two years with some of the profs at BCIT. Anyone leaving negative comments, well perhaps you were just too stupid to be at BCIT let along be in her class.

Easily the best prof I've ever had at BCIT. Might seem a little bit crazy at first, but her enthusiasm is refreshing. She TRULY wants to teach her students the art of Finance, and she said it herself: she's not here for the money! No textbook is required, and you don't need one - attend all her lectures and labs, and you're good to go.

Possibly the worst prof I ever had. Terrible lesson planning, pacing, and interpersonal skills. No instructional skills. Can't take feedback. All lecture, no lab. Tons of overhead effort in this class. Almost no assignments collected or marked. I have learned almost nothing from her in this course. It's been a huge dissapointment.
