Pauli is one of the best professors I've ever had. Despite the difficulty level, she held the class's interest, explained the information clearly, and always was willing to give extra help/review sessions. If you ever get a chance to take her, you will learn so much.

Avoid. Prof. Pauli turned journalism 1 into journalism 2. Rather than sticking to the curriculum, she continued to add in extra work, "Just to try it out." Unfortunately, when it didn't work out, it still impacted our grade. Harsh grader. You are expected to provide work that is almost expert level. Unreasonable, but honestly an interesting class.

Hard class to begin with, but Pauli makes it as interesting as she can. Lectures are boring and the material is dry but assignments are easy. Tests require a lot of memorization. Definitely find a highlighted textbook -- it helped me tremendously.

Totally not in tune with the needs of the technologically-savvy internet generation. Had us crunch survey numbers manually, instead of the extremely easy method of utilizing SPSS to crunch them for us. A total nitwit and stubborn and unpleasing to gaze upon.
