Comment:

The actual material is not hard at all, but the way she makes and marks her exams are completely unfair. I remember one short answer question was worth like 20 marks and only required like 4/5 sentences - which is impossible, especially when the notes are TERRIBLE. Unfortunately i was in her last class before she reitred.

I hated the course & the prof!I didn't like prof's personality, the way she treats her students,she isn't eager to help out, unfriendly.I hated her UNORGANIZED NOTES from which it's hard to study for exams, and hated when we had to listen to presentations,make sense of the experiments conducted & at the same time make good notes to study for exam.

Started out not loving her and ended up thinking she was a wicked prof (even though i didn't finish with a great mark). The course is really well layed out and her enthusiasm for plants makes you love them too. The labs are relevant and helpful. Word of advice: Know your diagrams!

Comment:

Students who give her a low rating are just lazy. This course will teach you how to study. Her tests have no trick questions as well as no gimme's, so your grades should be an accurate reflection of your test preparation. Cramming and memorization won't get you much in this course, but that's not how you're supposed to learn anyways.

wow shes a really bad prof. The tests are EXTREMELY UNFAIR AND HARD, ALL SHORT ANSWER. She is not very clear, and very unorganized. Nice person, but she should consider retiring, SOON! The actual content was alright, if you have any interest in plants what so ever (which most people dont)
