Read the textbook. You'll get out of this class what you put into it.

I would have to agree with a lot of the other comments. She is very confrontational and does not like differing opinions. Does not do a very good job of explaining what she expects from you. Case material was based on a case that she her self had written. Lastly there are only 2 tests that cover 8 chapters each. These tests cover a large amount.

She is very confrontational and does not appreciate any differing opinions. She does try to explain her "rubric" for grading but in the end it is very subjective. Going to class was useless.

Good Class. Lots of examples. Most of the subjects are learned in other classes. A lot of reading and group projects.

This is one of most hopeless class I have ever taken. She spoke in the class not more than 30min/class out of 2:50mins class time (she is in the class till the end 8.50pm). She shows useless youtube videos. Her class exercises are not good.Theory needs to be by-hearted.90% of class time was presentations, videos etc. SHE IS NOT HELPFUL.AVOID CLASS.

Comment:
Grading was subjective; no rationale was given for assigned grades. This did not feel like a graduate level class. We watched more youtube videos than we read articles. Professor is very argumentative and rude when her views are challenged. Very frustrating during class discussions when information given is incorrect (which often occurs).

Was disappointed in this class. It was mostly memorize & spit back, which I don't expect in a grad prog. Essays on tests were graded subjectively & based heavily on personal style.Class had A LOT of work, more than any other class in prog. Most of the content is textbook and academic theory, not a lot real world applications. She wrote the txt book.

She is a very knowledgeable professor. She gives you a lot of work to do. There were several projects during the semester with dead lines to turn in. Tests were long and it has essays portions to them. The book is heavily used and it needs to be read, if you want to pas the tests. She is a little disorganized, but willing to help at all times!!
