Doesn't seem to care about students, in one instance, didn't even allow student to finish test and made her go out into hall while we continued without her. Very unclear on topics, and doesn't even seem to know Spanish very well.

Great Professor!! She is very nice, I even learned a lot of spanish. We had HW, but it was never graded, we would just go over it in class. We had exams every other week. They were easy! Plus our class always gets out an hour early every time :)

Seniora Shaw is great, however, it is very easy to pass her class (with a high grade) without actually learning Spanish. This became a problem when I transferred to U of M and had to redo the 2 classes I had with her. Great if you are looking to get through the language requirement for a BA.

Very easy teacher. No homework graded...do for your own benefit. Frequent tests over every chapter, but she tells you exactly what is on the test the class before. always let out early. Recommend this teacher for anyone!! Best spanish teacher i've ever had!

I LOVE HER! SHE WAS SO NICE AND MADE THE CLASS FLY BY! WE DID FUN ACTIVITES IN THE CLASS AND I ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO CLASS! QUIZZES WERE EASY AND SHE MADE IT CLEAR WHAT WAS ON THEM. I AM TAKING HER AGAIN NEXT SEMESTER!

very nice :) she is so helpful, you use your text book all the time. the class is super organized. you pretty much take a quiz every two weeks, that are always the same. i recommend this class.

This professor is very clear about everything. Although this was a summer term, the class was fun. The class went fast, but it was manageable and Shaw made it a good time. I recommend her to any person who needs to take Spanish. She is great at teaching the subject and she lets you out early most of the time. Very reasonable. A+ professor.

Extremely Easy, personable and fun. Material to be on the test is always specifically described ahead of time, she ALWAYS lets us out of class early, and little to no homework is involved. An easy A if you and fairly familiar with Spanish.

Carol is great. She really knows her stuff, but she's American, so new speakers can understand her. I recommend her as your professor if you've never had Spanish before. She starts at the very bottom, and slowly works you up. Plus her tests are really easy.
