Carolyn is lovely! She's a great prof, very friendly, stimulates interest in the course and has good examples. Her assignments are pretty easy, as long as you study the examples in class you'll do fine. Her exams are straight forward and there are no surprises.

I can't say enough good things about her!! Dr. Walsh is one of the best, if not THE best professor at MUN. She knows her stuff inside and out, she's super approachable, and she really cares about her students. If you have a chance to take one of her classes, definitely don't pass it up.

Dr.Walsh is good, just hands down good, she knew exactly what she was teaching in the 1000 class and who she was teaching it to. She is helpful in and out of class and she cares about how you do, doesn't hurt that she LOVES the material.

I'm glad I got her, she is clear and answers questions well, but this course is a breeze anyway, show up for class, do the required reading and make sure you practice with portal and you'll get an A, hell, I did!

She's alright, but not as enjoyable as Maddigan. She sometimes has the intonation of an elementary school teacher, but I suppose that's just how she talks. As a general rule you should try to write down what she's talking about and not what you read on the slideshow.

Compared to Maddigan, she's a lot less engaging, but her slideshows are much better. They have a lot of information on them so sometimes you have to paraphrase which shouldn't be an issue for university students. As far as actually teaching the material, Carolyn is an excellent prof.

She made really good powerpoints, but she had so much information on them so you were usually scrambling to get them wrote down. They are posted on the internet thought, you just have to wait about 3 or 4 classes to see them up there. I loved her notes, but didn't find her as interesting as Maddigan. She does seem really nice though.

I thought she was a good prof, the notes she put on the screen were better then maddigans, but also a lot to write down..But very informative, and good to indicate what is most likely going to be on the exams. Exams are 100 m.c, but dont let that you think its easy..its long, so make sure you know the material

Seems like a nice person, but at the end of the hour I would be aching to leave the class. Tries to give too much information on the slides which results in not enough time to write them down (extremely frustrating!), when almost all of it is in the book anyway. Ok teacher, but the other two were better.

Oh my. Prof really served no purpose. Lectures were straight out of the book, and the book did a better job of explaining the topics. Expected everyones hand to move as fast as she could click to the next slide. By no means was she the reason that i chose to do more psychologys.

I liked her even though the course is taught on a screen. She was clear and energetic the whole time and kept me interested. She and Maddigan should teach without Gaulton.

Makes a lot of really annoying hand gestures with every syllable...if you're easily distracted by stuff like that, you should probably avoid taking her course.
