This woman single-handedly destroyed my interest for English. Her lectures literally put me to sleep like a sleep-eze would if you had noisy neighbours. She would acknowledge every comment as a good one when in fact most of what students offered in her class was absolute stupidity of the highest degree. She would be better suited to Guelph then UWO

Comment:

MUST like feminism do enjoy this class. A good variety of Romantic literature is covered, but mostly focuses on the female author and female characters. Tattersall frequently gets behind on lesson plans and can easily put the class to sleep.

She's a wonderful woman who has a passion for her subject. Lectures could get a little dull sometimes; she often goes on tangents. Encourages student participation. If you do the readings it's a breeze of a class and an easy 1st year grade.

AMAZING! She is super nice and helpful. I use to hate poetry, but after taking her course i started to LOVE it. She is a fair marker and she wants her students to do well. SHE IS AN ANGEL.

One of the greatest profs I've ever had. Amazing woman, very committed to her subject. Had her for tutorial, as well, and she genuinely cares for her students and their progress in the course. Commit to her class, and you'll do just fine.

Great prof! She is so kind and very helpful. I was scared going into this course as it was my first ever 200 level English, but with her help I did great! her lectures are very long, but she will teach you everything you need to know. We also go to do a play in class! Fun stuff!

Liked her use of Hamlet versions and Henry V clips as well-gave the class a diff dimension. She's always willinging to discuss class stuff and even things outside the classroom such as career choices etc. Very quirky comments that made me laugh. However, can be inconsistent with her grading of papers. Overall fairly good

She's such an amazing person! So helpful, and nice overall. Extremely approachable, and funny! Teaches her students with enthusiasm and always looks classy doing it. I hated how people never came to her class, because she certainly made it interesting. Loved her! Definetly try and take a class with her! :)

Prof. Tattersall is an excellent professor and a lovely woman. She's a pleasure to speak to, and is very insightful about Shakespeare. Her love for the topoic shines through in her lectures and her wealth of knowledge about plays is astounding. This is my favourite course this year, and my new favourite professor!

Could just be me but she likes to do a lot of group work where she wants you to discuss the plays in pairs and then in the class as a whole. Goes off topic a lot, somewhat bland and it takes all of my energy to pay attention. Fair marker, you have to do an individual presentation or a play-go with the presentation, it's less work!

An okay prof & the material is okay but now & then it's hard to understand her through the accent. However it's clear she loves what she does & that she cares about her students (minus the 4 or 5 favorites but I can handle that). I'm also not sure if it's the course or the prof (I think the course) but it has slightly choked my love for english.

An absolutely wonderful prof. Makes all of the material interesting and is fun. She is also very dedicated to her students. Anyone who has rated her marking as unfair is probably just a bad student who is dissapointed with their own perfomance and is displacing their frustration on to the prof.

One of the most boring profs ive ever had!!! fell asleep in her class every time and I was not the only one. She is very repetitive and its very challenging to make sense of what she's babbling about! Nice lady though, at least she tries! overall, do not take this course!! the t.a's are even worse!
