Comment:

Took her for Enc1101 and 1102. I loved her in 1101, because she really wanted to help and teach students everything she could. IN 1102 she acted like you should know everything already, so if you did make any mistakes she was not okay with it. I passed 1101 with a 98%. However, I only got an 85% in 1102. Mostly because the final is worth so much.

Comment:

Awesome teacher. Had her for English 1 and 2. When writing essays she gives you as many chances as you need to keep correcting things if she finds any wrong. Her quizes are really easy, she lets you use your notes. Very caring. Wants you to make a good grade. Really helpful.

Ms. Robinson is an extremely narrow minded professor when it comes to online classes. After following the official MLA rubric, she decided not to even grade several papers because she believed there was a formatting error. She also restricts the student's ability to quicken the pace when it comes to assignments.

Comment:

Very energetic and upbeat. Lectures were happy and optimistic outlining hope & salvation in readings. Reading Faulkner in this class helped me finalize my decision to become an English Major. I don't know why anyone had a problem with her grading. I never revieved less than a 95. However, I used proper grammar and completely answered the prompts.

Comment:

Professor Robinson is a great teacher! I took her online so from my experience she's well organized and will help you whenever you need it. She's even there to suggest help for other classes. The only issue is she can be a tough grader at times but she pushes you to do better! You will definitely need both your books for her class though.

Unless your work is perfect (spelling, grammar, vocabulary, etc.) you won't get above an 80 on any essay. She will give you a chance to resubmit, but only when the whole class bombs the assignment. She says she is always there to help, but isn't very good at actually helping. I've always had a high A in English, now I'm struggling to get an 85.

This teacher is clueless. She attempted to tell everyone in the class that if they didn't turn in every single weekly assignment before the final, they would not sit for the final. She told us this 7 lines into an email, a week before the Final exam. After readjusting some higher ups there, it all went away. This class was not good for my health.

Dr Robison is a nice lady but very tough. The research paper topic got changed in the 9th week-frustrating. She is a TOUGH grader. But overall, she really wanted the students to succeed and gave plenty of extra credit opportunities. I worked very hard for my A and that was ok because it made me a better critical reader and writer.

I am currently taking this class, and I absolutely regret it. She is unclear, confusing, overworks her students, makes learning stressful, grades unfairly/harshly , says she'll get back to you withing 24 hours but instead takes a few days, and (I feel) even insulted me in a recent e-mail reply. currently doing my research on how to report her.

I took the online class on summer B. The essays had complicated directions, unclear expectations, and the quizzes included many trick questions. I followed all her directions on each essay and received grades that ranged from 80 - 100. I finished the class with an 89.7 before she applied extra credit. She never applied it or graded my final essay.

Dr. Robison is an amazing teacher! She is always there to help you with whatever it may be. She is always cheerful, and outgoing and really enjoys teaching. If you're respectful, show up for class every time, do your work, and pay attention in class, there is no reason as to why you won't get an A. Work for your grade and you'll do fine!

She is THE professor for Creative Writing. Not sure about other classes but for CRW she KNOWS how to teach it. Even if your not into CRW, she has some very interesting stuff to show.You must be in class. Made great effort to make everyone comfortable in critique. If you do your portfolio correctly there is no reason not to get an A.
