Personally I feel that this professor talks very slowly and also very quietly. You will want to sit up front to be able to hear him. He once had students read from the text book, to me that seems childish. I don't need to be embarrassed in front of strangers. Despite that, I've never asked for help with material but I'm sure he would help you.

This is the only class I've received a C in. READ YOUR TEXT BOOK OR YOU WILL NOT PASS THE TESTS. I read the text books and still couldn't even get a B. He talks very quietly so if you're hard of hearing sit near the front. He is a very intelligent man and sweet, but it certainly was NOT my kind of class.

Dr. Brown is an unbelievably smart man. The class is fun but he talks very low and it's hard to hear him. You don't have to read to much but you definitely need the book to study with. This class is all on concepts and which is the best answer. This class is much harder than what it seems. The tests say it all and there are only 4 total.

If you read your book and attend classes you will pass. Gordon rule, so he has 4 papers due at each test, journaling your personal experience with the covered material. Tests are more implied than straight forward, but overall not difficult. He is very passionate about the course

Doc Brown is a good guy, he is very helpful and obviously has a deep interest in the material. He can be, however, somewhat unclear on certain topics. So make sure to ask questions! Overall Good professor though.

He's OK, be prepared for a very soft spoken voice, it's very sleep inducing. he uses the text for class and tests. he not a bad teacher and will not give you a heavy work load. it's a Gorden rule class so he has to issue out 3 or 4 essays a semester, but he narrowed ours down to 2.

So far I'm enjoying his class. He's extremely intelligent and the material may seem like a lot to comprehend but he really does his best to break it down for you. He also has an amazing sense of humor. Overall, well worth taking his class.

If you enjoy psychology take Dr. Brown and you will learn a lot! No homework, just a couple short 900 word papers and 4 tests including the final. Make sure you read the material, take notes from the lecture, and apply the definitions given to real life examples to do well on exams.

It was a an hour and fifteen minute class, yet he spent an hour of it reviewing what we did last class. Gets of topic 90% of the time. I only showed up because he counts attendance. Read the text book and you'll do fine. Class is realy boring, if you can... pick some one else!

Wonderful instructor! Study guides are very helpful, but lectures are the key! He rarely uses the book because he has the knowledge, but you need it to study and follow along. Do NOT miss lecture. He covers a lot and has a way to explain things better than the book!

One can tell Dr. Irvin Brown was educated in a prestigious university like Stanford. He is not only extremely intelligent but self-disciplined and if you attend class, listen and take notes there is No reason one wouldn't earn a decent grade. Looks similar but better than Bob Marley and to me, Bob Marley is hot.

Class was very boring and it was pretty hard to stay awake and focused. Taking good notes is key to passing the tests. There are study guides but they are not very clear. We wrote three papers and he is a pretty easy grader. He is a very intelligent man, just not the best at keeping class exciting and interesting.
