I took Ethnology of the Caribbean with her. Last time I checked, Cuba and the DR are part of the Caribbean and she didn't know ANYTHING about them! I was shocked. She is completely useless and stubborn. She has biases that will not change even if you try to please her by doing all your coursework. Very mean lady! My advice: NO NO NO...STAY AWAY!!!!

Benoit is very nice but she is bluntly useless. Her class was a joke! I spent over $100 on her textbooks and they didn't apply what-so-ever. All we did the entire semester was read the chapters assigned and talk about them inclass. Total waste of my time, but a definite GPA booster!

Professor Benoit seems like a very nice person, but her intro Anthropology class is just BORING. It's clear that no one does the reading so only a few students ever talk. She tends to ramble, and because of her accent, it's hard to pay attention.
