Comment:
Expects you to know everything already and is condescending when you don't. Seems like a nice guy but not a good teacher. In lab he would rather do it himself and expect you to follow rather than explain whats going on.

Comment:
Although I found his eccentricity and sarcasm refreshing, and knowledge of the material admirable, his lectures were disorganized and redundant. Some of the tests seemed to be poor reflections of the units they represented as well, taking questions seemingly out of thin air. The textbook did a much more thorough job than himself.

weekly tests, his lectures are only of him going over physics examples. The reading is assigned after he has already gone over examples for it so I never understood what he was teaching until a week later when we did the homework on it

Has no right to be at a university, never publishes, doesn't know how to teach, condescending for no good reason but to make himself feel good.

course content is very dull, attending lectures is a most. the tutorials are easy but the TA's basically give you the answers so you dont really learn anything and in the final exam that will screw you over. Hes a good prof no doubt about it but the course was extremely boring.

Good mastery of topics. Tests fair relative to material in lectures / assignments. Tutorial materials are good. Could do without the sarcasm though.

Interesting lectures, but needs to realize that there are no prerequisites for this class. He gets so mad that we don't know all the rules of trig or memorize logarithmic scales if you go ask him for help. Made me feel very stupid on numerous occasions and I've got a 92 in the class. Can't imagine how others would feel who really need help

He does a good lecture, interesting and at times interactive. If your not paying attention, make sure you sit at the back, he will ask you stuff! His notes, are just fine for studying, and if you ask something, he answers it very well. An excellent proff! Do all physics proffs have beards?

His notes are horrible!! He jumps all over the place. He doesn't write down examples, just talks through them and expects you to understand them. His notes are uesless for studying!! Just do all the homework question on the web and you'll do ok. Oh, and take the LABS... easy marks.
