I didn't think this class was as hard as some are saying. Yes, the tests were difficult but you get to fill up a full sheet of paper with notes for the midterms and 4 sheets for the final. Get the calculator she recommends because that is what the book has instructions for. I barely read the book. The lectures and powerpoints were all I needed.

Highly recommend Richert. She has the ability to simplify difficult subjects. If you don?t like the class then Finance is not the concentration for you. If you already have a TI 83 then I wouldn?t buy a financial calculator. You?ll need to Google IRR and NPV to figure out how to do these computations on the TI 83.

I would never recommend her to anyone needing to take FIN 320, she is not helpful, if you ask her a question, it's oh look in the book. She is very hard and you really need to study for her tests.

Im a senior at CSUF & Richert was one of THE worst professors I have ever had. This woman knows nothing about Finance. Her classes are disorganized. She may seem nice but she honestly does not care about students. I emailed her 6 times through out the semester & she never replied once. Wont answer questions cuz she doesnt know the right answers!

Ok some people may find her easy cuz math comes easy to them..but if your not good with math and not a finance major take someone else.. if you want to pass this class with a good grade without having to work your ass..then shop around and take someone else..shes good with lectures but tests are hard!!

Dont listen to the 2 clowns below. Richert's class is easy. I got an A & I missed most classes. But u should attend class b/c of in-class quizzes. Be sure to buy the special calculator & clicker. She makes everything so easy and understandable. Her lecture is based on PowerPoint. She gives out the easiest quizes and automatically gives you the answers to 5 out of 10 questions. Your allowed to have cheat sheets for your exams. I would totally recommend this teacher.

Upbeat teacher that is willing to help her students succeed. Attendance isn't mandatory but she throws in pop quizzes here and there. Half of the questions are given for freebies. Her exams are harder than expected to make sure you're on top of the readings.

This class was pretty chill. 2 exams, 1 Fincoach and the final. The Fincoach exam is basically identical to the sample Fincoach. I got 100% on it. Richert is a nice funny lady who knows the material. Many people complained that the class is difficult, but it's not. You do not need the book, just take notes and study the powerpoint slides.

During class she mainly just goes over her ppt's that are online. there are a few pop quizzes that are pretty easy (5 quest). Fincoach is almost identical to the practice fincoach online. She is kinda out there but she's funny. I would definately take her again.

shes a good teacher. i can see how ppl might struggle with this class, but she lets you use cheat sheets on ALL exams, includin' the final, so you should do well. i got an A, this is what i did (studied her lecture notes, looked over her pwrpts, did the hw) thats it. i didnt read any chapters in the book. just go 2 class. i recommend.

Prof. Crichert is a good teacher, but she could be better. She says you need the book, but she has powerpoints that pretty much have everything you need to know. Attendance is optional, but she gives lots of surpise quizzes. *hint #s 1-5 on ALL quizzes are A! Her tests are HARD, you can have notes. The FINAL is NOT how the sample final looks.

Very boring and dry class. She tends to get her panties in a bunch (it's very easy to annoy her). I don't know how I passed the class- excellent curve. I failed both FinCoaches and guessed "C' and "true" on the final and passed thank God. Good Luck
