I took Latin American History online with Professor Rokicky this past summer. The class was enjoyable and straightforward, with a few big papers and a reading quiz every week. We had an optional field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art that was really cool. Professor Rokicky is a fair grader and very responsive if you have any issues.

Professor Rokicky is super understanding and helpful. If you have any questions, she answers you very quickly and takes time out of her day to help you. I have learned more about history from her class in a semester than I have learned in history throughout my twelve years taking history classes. I recommend this class to everyone.

Dr Rocky, is an amazing professor. She not only gives wonderful feedback on assignments submitted but responds to your email promptly with questions or concerns. He course is explained to the fullest. I would definitely take more courses with her.

She opened the weekly assignments early and gave plenty of time before due date. She quickly responds to emails and makes sure to help. Quizzes every week. A chapter or two to read every week. Textbooks required.

Dr. Rokicky is a sweetheart. She is flexible and understanding and keeps it positive! I learned a ton in her blended learning Native American History class. She is very fair and helpful, and keeps to the textbook/power points. The textbook and her study guides can be a little willy nilly, but she is passionate and knowledgeable about her specialty!

I took American History 1510 and 1520 with her online and it was good for an online class. Her instructions were very clear although the exams were hard because they were usually two full length essays. The quizzes were easy because all of the questions were on quizlet. She is very easy to contact on quizlet and very helpful. It's anorganized class

I would recommend this class with professor Rokicky to anyone. I loved her online class. If you are scared to take one i would still recommend her. Everything is so clear as long as you read and participate. Loved her and the class. Always available and understanding. Just make sure you stay on top of work and you'll do great!

Dr. Rokicky is amazing, she loves History and wants you to love it too. Her tests are difficult but very straight forward. Be prepared to read & write in her class, if you don't like to write essays this class isn't for you. She will bend over backwards to help you, she wants you to succeed. I loved her class & I would take her again!!

"Assignments Galore" is on the money. Just because it's an online class IS NOT an excuse to give so many assignments. Had hoped they'd be simple and copious, was wrong. Reading amount: ; req'd extra website reading included. Instructions are fairly simple to understand. Assignments seem arbitrary. Writing req'd fair to excessive.

Good teacher from what i can tell. I took the class online. My only issues was the amount of work. You will write more essays than an English class. I've written twice as many essays in just half a semester in history than i wrote in a whole semester of English.

Had her for Latin American Hist and American Hist. She's a really, really good teacher. Tests are mix of multiple choice and essay. Occasionally you need to write something on readings or do papers. All easy if you do the readings + take notes. Readings can get a bit long, but aren't particularly hard. Recommended to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Rokicky was amazing! She was by far my fav prof. I'm not much into history but her lectures were so interesting that I looked foward to attending her classes. She makes history so interesting. Quite simply, Dr. Rokicky was awesome. I enjoyed HIST 101 so much that I took the next class with her as well and also took a Latin American History class. Interactive with the class and being a natural storyteller makes her classes among the very best.

My favorite professor ever! So helpful, clear, and incredibly friendly. I really never liked history but I found myself wanting to attend her class. She keeps things fun and interesting. Her tests are fairly easy, just review her powerpoint notes and it's fine. I recommend her to everyone, she is awesome!
