This class was almost completely textbook reliant, and for an entire semester only 3 lectures were given over 3 of the 9 chapters. 3 homework assignments were given for the semester and he returns them with no feedback. When I requested feedback it was always vague. Audio lectures were hard to hear and little to none of the topics appeared on exam

I was very satisfied with Professor Surace's class. Tests were very fair, his online lectures were informative and entertaining, and the book (although WAY over priced) was a good read. I only wish I could have made the time to take him in a class setting instead of online.

If you're looking to take Prof. Surace, it's your way to go, it was so simple! Few assignments and tests. I took it online and it was a breather for me with my heavy schedule. I needed the credit, easy A! go for it. Straight forward, interesting class!

Chapters are painful to read, I probably could have done better if I took better notes while reading. Tests were easy, make sure you study vocab. He expects very little from you. Must take tests at a testing center on campus

Class is easy. if you read the chapters and listen to his audios you will do fine. His audios are actually interesting to listen to. There are only 3 test all multiple choice. Know the vocabulary and you will do fine. He is easy to reach and he is active with students online

took online 8wk class. test r 40 question multiple choice. 3 summaries to write on audios not hard at all, he's very giving when grading these. Know the vocabulary! & read the chapters as there will be between 2-10 questions on test pertaining from the chapters. chapters are long & painful 2 read, lol. Not a hard class at all, would recommend.

Intro to hum course is very straight forward, 3 tests comprised of 40 multiple choice questions, each worth 5 points. 3 separate paragraphs based on 3 podcasts. He is willing to accept drafts which will help your grade. He also will look at borderline cases. I had an 88 percent and he gave me an A. Most of all know your vocab!!

Awesome instructor! I took his online class. 3 writing assignments on the audio lectures which only have to be 5 sentences long and three tests which are multiple choice. Listen to the podcasts,read the book,study the definitions and do the writing assignments. Then you'll do fine. He is a fair grader!

Dr. Surace was great for Eng 1010. He was very clear in what he wanted in regards to all the writings. 2 tests and about 4 papers(2-3pgs). Takes attendance very seriously and hates people who are late to class. Get on his goodside asap or your semester will not be pleasant. Gives plenty of time with all assignments. Def recommend
