She enjoys what she teaches and makes it that much easier to enjoy the subject as well. There's a constant workload in the class. Think essay after essay but i pulled straight A's on all the essays, just write a little at a time everyday and ask her for opinion on your essays and you'll be fine.

I've taken 4 year university english classes, and in comparison this class was very easy. Read what she assigns and think about the reading. If you don't care about this class then your grade will reflect it. Try your best and your efforts will be rewarded. Ceiny is a very good teacher. One of the best I've ever had. I had her class many years ago. She really taught me "how" to write. Now, I use the skills she taught me and it's been 10 years since I've taken her 1A class. She grades pretty hard, but it's worth the effort. GOOD TEACHER !!

Ceiny is very hard. She's nice though, but assigns A LOT of work! And honestly, I don't think she gives A's. I did my best on every single assignment/essay and I never pulled off higher than a B+ She's very helpful, and makes you meet w/ her twice in the semester. If you don't like reading and writing, DO NOT take her class, you wont do well.
