This instructor was of little help when students posted questions about trouble tickets in the course discussion forum. The practical exams where really not about troubleshooting networks, but more on configuring routing protocols. Please bring back the MacIntyres to teach this troubleshooting course!

Chad is a great prof & course coordinator. Although he marks hard, and the tshoot course isn't that greatly laid out, you are forced to learn your sh*t. I'm in the last semester of CTY and am enjoying it. If you have questions he is very knowledgeable and is always willing to help! Make sure you go to all of the labs, you need the hands on

Excellent Prof, Clear expectations, heck he even told you what was on the bloody exams if you paid enough attention. He teaches a tough subject. Lecture style is engaging and he welcomed and answered all questions. If you failed his course odds are high that you did not attend all lectures and tutorials.

I really like his teaching style. The review slides and screenshots to verify our labs were great ideas! Playing around with VMWare, batch files, security, user accounts, the Dos FAT tables, and everything else was very fun. Chad was always good at testing his students by asking questions, and eager to answer questions. Thanks for the good times!

Unfair expectations set upon students. Throws random unheard of college policies at students as an excuse for doing a poor job. Several marking errors throughout the term. Moody. Often absent from class (illness, and also cancels class)

I agree with the last rating. Chad is a tough teacher, but he helps you prepare for the real world. He wants to make sure that you have the skills to keep your job after graduation. His labs are the best, since they are real life scenarios. Overall a good teacher!
