This class is extremely boring and although he seems nice, he also just seems rude at times. He gives three exams and the open ended parts of it are just like his review. I understand why people can fail his class because he goes through everything quickly and the info is already hard to understand. You can read the textbook but I never used it.

I like Kant. He does not require you to purchase an online textbook/service, like other Econ professors do. You can just find a pdf version of the textbook online. Furthermore, the short answer questions are based off of his PowerPoint slides. If you participate, he will like you, and will give extra points on the exam. Study, and you'll be fine.

I wouldn't reccomend. He's obviously a very intelligent and capable man, but not a great professor. Refuses to acknowledge schools of economics besides Keynesian. He does not actually teach much in class, just reads off the PowerPoint slides. I have taken him twice due to scheduling issues, hated his class both times.

I don't hate Professor Kant, but you have to pay a lot of attention and ask your classmates for help. The textbook can help, but it's almost like the book Ulysses because you have to really read into it. I really wouldn't recommend his class. My friend says his office hours can be helpful, though.

He is okay if you pay attention in class. He lectures straight off of the powerpoints and has a thick Indian accent which makes it hard to understand what he is saying. There were 3 exams given, each worth 30% with little review materials provided. He knows his stuff but fails to teach it properly not good at teaching the material.

Can't understand a word he says. Not a hands on teacher. Exams are whole class. Take if you like to learn on own via book and homework. If you want to learn and get a good grade too consider different professor.

Here's the breakdown for macro econ. You only have two tests, the midterm and final. The rest of the points go to participation, attendance and HW. He gives you practice exams that are very similar to the midterm and final and some HW questions are on the tests. The homework gives you three chances so you can do three times for a grade. Good luck!

This is by far one of the worst professors that I have ever been so unfortunate to run into. Not only is his demeanor in general God awful (speaks in an unclear accent, and boring beyond anything), but he expects you to know it all without him doing next to anything. He reads directly off slides that he posts online anyway, but still has attendance

His accent is a little tough at first but you get the hang of it pretty quick. Exams make up like 80% of your grade so you have to really study for them. I think he was a run of the mill professor. He is reasonable but wont hand you a grade. you have to show up most of the time to get it. Also, examples in notes are the same ones he uses on exams!

He lectures off of slides but the exams are based directly off of the examples he goes over in class. if you copy them and study the concepts, you will have no problem. I found him easy to understand,. Attendance is very small part of grade and is randomly checked

Chander Kant is the worst economics professor in the business school. He does not try to help his students out, and expects them to be experts as soon as the material is taught. He is EXTREMELY unclear about what will be on the tests and also penalizes students for incorrect homework answers. Overall, a very poor professor and human being.

He's the worst in so many ways. Impossible to understand. If you want to do well in his class, teach yourself the material because you will not understand what he is saying. Pretty disorganized teaching method. If you want to learn economics, please take someone who can speak the nation's language somewhat clearly.

Kant has an accent that can be understood but is hard. he does not teach very well. essentially you end up teaching yourself. i paid absolutely NO attention in his class, did not study and got a C+. i would avoid him if possible.

Class is extremely boring and attendance is mandatory. You end up teaching yourself, but its not that hard. Put in a little bit of effort and getting a decent grade is not impossible. Get the study guide that goes with the text book and study the multiple choice for the tests. 3 tests all non cumulative.
