Unless you're really into Asian art or are really good at managing time for online classes I would stay away from this. I feel behind in lectures & found it extremely difficult to catch back up. Tests are easy if you remember every single thing & image from the lectures.

Comment:

Online class about Art of Tibet. Interesting although I forgot many times about the class and would have to cram in lectures so I suggest making time for it during the school day. A lot of learning but it's hard to tell the deities apart sometimes. Flashcards help. You DEFINITELY need the book now.

Online Section. This class is not the easiest. You have to do the work. There are three papers, for which you have to read a bunch of articles and listen to the lectures. She is a very easy grader. There are 3 multiple choice tests. Those aren't as easy, but if you watch the lectures, which are painfully boring, you'll do well.

This class was SO interesting! I learned so much. She is a really lenient grader. Took it online. You DO NOT need the textbook. There are three papers but they are like a half a page long, very easy. Just watch the lectures and go right off the study guide, that's all she tests on. Great class.

This class was great. I took it online, which was one of the best decisions I've made yet at UD. The material was sort of boring but she is an extremely easy grader. You will ace all three exams if you watch the lectures and do the study guides.

Class is hard, at least for me because I'm not a science major. But one of the more interesting classes I've taken at UD. I even liked the writing projects. Prof always responds in detail to questions, helpful and nice.

Took the course online. As long as you watch the lectures and go through the study guides you will do well. There are a couple short writing assignments but they are easy as long as you watch the lectures. Don't buy the book. I read the assigned pages only to find out that literally everything on the tests is mentioned in class.

Don't buy the book. Take good notes from her lectures following her study guides. Easy A, highly recommend it for Group A and multicultural requirement! Assignments are only half page long, if you've listened to the lectures they take about 10-15 minutes to do. Exams are straight out of her study guide.

TAKE THIS CLASS AS YOUR GROUP D! As long as you can motivate yourself to watch the lectures, this is literally the easiest science class imaginable. She gives out study guides that outline exactly what you need to know, and is a very easy grader on the 3 case studies. Seriously. This class is great.

Great course for breadth requirement...Online section was very science intensive but well explained in video lectures.Good study lists for exams, keep them handy during lectures for notes and exams will be less surprising. The case studies were very interesting but keep up with the reading because there is a lot to cover.

She is very helpful if you have questions and wants everyone to do well. DON'T BUT THE BOOK. I never even opened it and did well on the exams. She gives you a study guide for each exam and the final. There is a weekly question which is not hard and will help your grade if you need it. There is a lot of material but it is interesting. Take it online

The online version of this class is excellent. The main focus is on three interesting (and actually fun) case studies, a good way to learn the science content. Easiest class I've ever taken at UD...three non-cumulative exams, 8 lectures per exam with study guides given by her for each lecture. Don't buy the book or cd...just skip through important parts of lectures and study a little bit...easy easy A.

Heard this class was easy so I took it. Boy was I wrong. Very hard and many terms to remember for an elective. Must have changed the course around because I spent as much time on this class then I did on a 300 level bio class. Lectures were the worst and definately not worth taking. Don't waste your time or GPA on this course.
