Although his English isn't the best (it's actually funny to listen to - he pronounces the 'p' in 'pseudo'), you can always look at his class-notes on the course webpage if you didn't take notes in class. Some of the assignments were time-consuming, but didn't require too much thought. Recommended if you need to take a computer hardware course.

Poor guy. I know he tries his best, but I still can't understand him. English is not his strong point :). He is really good with late assignments tho. Thanks to his online notes you can follow him in class. Tests are rather long and hard. Too much ASM coding on the final. Your experience may vary.

Once you learn to decifer "Zhang" style english, and read his "Zhang" notes on the board he is a good prof. But if you dont learn how to understand his english or read his notes, it becomes alot harder.

easy marker on assignments...tests can be tricky. has poor pronunciation and not always thorough or clear with his in-class examples. good to print off his online notes and refer to the text for extra examples. very lenient with handing in assignments at the END of the day...thumbs up for that!
