I took this class originally to fill an empty spot in my schedule, I had never taken an art class before and figured it would be interesting. I ended up taking pottery four semesters in a row. Chuck is the best teacher I've ever had and even though I'm horrible at pottery he made me feel like everything I made was a masterpiece. Must have elective

I love Chuck. He is one of the nicest and most interesting art teachers you'll ever meet at a community college. I have taken two of his Pottery classes plus 2D Design so far, they were enjoyable and worthwhile. He's very encouraging because he truly loves art and sharing his extensive knowledge with his students.

This class was ridiculous. If you are an artist then definately take more than just the beginning pottery class. He is amazing at what he does but he is very different at teaching beginner's than how I was taught. It was an easy A...he wants you to get an A.

Chuck is just the best teacher when it comes to pottery. A smooth class to take extra easy credits that actually showed me the advanced pottery can be extremely difficult. but the beginner course is a real joy to take.Don't have to be artistic, but it helps.

Chuck is an awesome guy. Very laid back and he's more less there to let you do your thing. He'll give you the basics and you can either build on that or not. As long as it looks as if your trying, you can expect an A no questions asked. Very nice man.
