Took several of his classes and while his exams and materials were tough, he always seemed to make time for his students. Genuine nice guy, and committed to his work, and his students - even after they graduate he still takes interest in their lives and careers.

He's a really nice guy, and a really good prof. In my class, he never begrudged my comments (despite the fact that I was a high school senior), and we often would wander about campus, discussing whatever it was he had mentioned in his lecture.

I had Prof. Walling for Native Latin Americans. I only took the class for the gen ed requirement, assuming it would be terrible and I would hate it. It ended up being my favorite class and I'd reccomend it to anyone.

Professor Walling is a good teacher. There isn't a ridiculous amount of work, but it is important to do the readings. They're not too bad though. Quizzes every other week that are usually easy. He is flexible with grades. He's really passionate about his work and likes to see participation.

He is a very intellegent professor and is very passionate and dedicated to his work. H is very flexible with students and trys his best to get everyone to get involved in discussions. Quizes every other week, midterm, final, and a 4-5 page paper. I recommend.

Professor Walling is awesome! His classes are interesting, and he is very intelligent and knows his material. He has vwery intense class discussions, is available for help, offers exrta credit, has great reviews, and the paper is quite easy to write. Overall if you can, take him...he is fantastic!

Stan Walling is the hottest professor!! Only 2 exams and a paper.You have 2 texts to read that arent bad. Very fair grader that curves. No attendance. Very into the natives and has awesome stories. Definately take him.
