Giuliano is awesome. I was also a lucky favorite i believe because he was always willing to talk and just shoot the**** in his office. He was unclear and rambly a bit in class, but his stories and travel advice were amusing and helpful. Its true he asks ridiculous questions and admonishes the class for not knowing the answer.

He definitely picks favorites and lucky for me, I was one of them. You have to keep up on the reading no matter what. There are plenty of pop tests and papers but no midterm or final. Speak up in class and he'll love you. I never did but somehow got A's on everything. He goes off on a tangent a lot but it's not always a bad thing.

This teacher asks the stupidest questions that are impossible to answer. If you try to ask him a similar question he'll say that its stupid and that he can't answer it. What does he think we listen to all class? He never gives deadlines for readings and will announce to the whole class how you in particular are doing. He should just retire now.

Excellent Professor...very challenging. Knows his material. Doesn't like students to be late, or speak in class...unless it is a questions directed towards him. Keep up with the reading assignments and pay attention...you will do great.

Great professor!! Very insightful, and amazingly intelligent. Papers are easy as long as you follow what he wants. Tests can be difficult if you don't take notes or read material. There is NO WAY you can BS on a test. I agree with others saying that he is full of himself,but once you get past that, it is a very worthwhile class.

I loved charles, he is a bit of an entertainer but he makes what could be a VERY dry class fun and entertaining. Charles is a wealth of knoledge and if you dont mind a few bad jokes hes great. His tests can suck if you dont study the right way but if you take good notes you will do just fine!
