Always helps you when you need it and he loves it when people come in for his office hours because then he knows you're motivated.Doing the homework thoroughly helps you to understand and you'll do better on the quizes and on the tests!

Kugler is a really goofy guy but tries to make things fun and relate to them in an interesting way. He likes to give questions based on the chapter questions that you do, instead of just turning in the questions. He's really helpful when you come to him and ask.Tests can be difficult,especially the first if you've never had him before but good prof

Very Confusing teacher. Notes are horrible and tests should be meant for bio professionals. He can make you feel dumb if your answers are not right to questions. Only take him if you have to!

Very goofy guy, but knows his stuff. Had Hammond for 121 and he is a MUCH better teacher. Hes very willing to help if you ask him and if you are willing to work. I do think he favors those who try hard, but what teacher doesnt. Tests are hard, but you can get an A if you study for them.

I xfered to JMU, but Dr. Kugler knows his stuff, and is willing to help you if you are willing to take his class seriously. I’m so glad I took his class, being a Bio major, his stuff may be difficult if you’re not interested, but he’s always willing to help. Def one of the best prof I have ever had

im a bio major, he is very helpful BUT! i think only to students that he thinks are taking his class and biology very seriously and is active in lab. hes good at lecturing, do your work and ABSOLUTELY GO TO CLASS! dont miss anything or you will be behind
