Comment:

Prof. Reid lectures often. He tries to get you to take a keen interest on this subject, but he's so into the psych world that he forgets we're still undergrads. No papers, he grades his tests on a curve, lots of videos and group work. Overall, it was an interesting course and I did learn a lot from him, so he knows how to do his job!

Awesome professor! Seems extremely difficult at first but with his grading system, its practically impossible to fail. If you study the text book and the syllabus you should easily get a good grade. Definately recommend.

Yes he is a little weird at first, but he is a great guy, extremely intelligent and knows the subject very well. He teaches differently than what most are accustomed to and uses the "packets" he hands out and Syllabus as if its the bible. His course is impossible to fail but you have to pay attention and do a lot of reading. I would recommend him

Seems weird at first, but he's pretty cool. Shows A LOT of videos that relate to textbook. I love the videos, very helpful! There are 3 exams which are pretty tough, but you'll be alright if you study. He has a weird grading system, but it's basically grading on a curve. Sylubus is very detailed so look at it carefully before asking him anything.

Professor Reid is excellent. For those who wrote that there are too many videos and the text is hardly used must have been in another class or world. The videos are used in conjunction with the text and materials handed at the beginning of the semester. I learned a great deal from this professor, he is very well informed in his field.

On the first day of class he will give you an insane amount of paper; dont let them deter you from the class. Hes very laid back. Yes his tests are guess work but he has a grading system that makes it impossible to fail. I bought the textbook but never used it becuase there was no way to study for the exams. easy A

Ilove Prof.Reid.He makes me laugh with the way that he pretends or maybe he thinks that he is srtict.You can never fail his class with his grading.I am taking psy 243 now and he claims that it is writing intensive,what a joke!Don't get me wrong,the paper is very interesting to do if you are a Psy major.I am taking him in the Fall for Psy 342.

He is one of the funnest prf. I've had. Don't be intimidated when he tells u the class is writing intensive, it really isnt. He's interesting, fun, and if you ask he will explain anything. He has a great grading system!! For theories of personality you have to do a presentaion but its fun cause he'll talk too. The exams are easy. I took him twice.

I guess everyone has their preference when it comes to what they expect out of a professor. His class is not the easiest, however, if your a psych major, then you should be able to get use out of the class, if your not, DONT TAKE THIS COURSE, you will be lost. I personally enjoy the class and am glad I took him for Psy 242 and 243.

He is a HORRIBLE teacher, very unfair and likes to treat students as if they are children. VERY disrespectful, annoying, and arrogant. I did not enjoy he class at all, he does not teach only shows videos and will occasionally read from a book. On the up-side you will never fail his class.

Presents the material thru videos, no lectures at all, 3 tests including final, 1 paper. he is a strict grader on the paper especially about the apa style. his grading system is great the highest grade i recieved in the class was a 52 and i ended up with an A in the class. oh and attendance really makes a difference in his class
