Great learning experience in Sustaining Environmental Health ,with his effective teaching methodology and commitment to student performance and success. Took his ecosystem health course and find he's very close minded. Very pessimistic. If he doesn't agree with, then you're wrong. Gets very mad if no one participates, to the point where he will call people out and rant about it. Just not what you want from a senior course prof.

I took his ecosystem health class. While he is a nice & funny guy, I find that in both ecosystem health & Bio 283, the marking didn't reflect the amount of time put in by, or the knowledge of, the student. (I spent more time on his senior course than I did on all my other classes that term combined.) Basically, his marking is very subjective.

Hated ecology, but took 327 and absolutely loved it. He is one of the funniest, entertaining and caring profs on campus. I absolutely adore this man. He makes studying polution of water actually interesting. Exams are tough, but his humor makes up for it. Great class (327), but 283 is tough.

Very clear in class (funny as all heck!). His exams are brutal, but suck it up - if you want easy, go to Fanshawe. We're not in highschool anyway, so crack open the textbook and supplement! He's is overflowing with experience. I'd rather learn from him than from someone who sits in his office 24/7.

i'm outraged! this is one of the few profs that REALLY gets out into his field and invests his life into his career. he knows his****, he knows how to crack jokes, and he's a great guy... though the exams are a bit off the richter and slides aren't always on time, so what... he's worth it!
