Took this teacher once and never again. I recommend never taking a class she teaches. Like others have said A effort gets you a B or worse. The assignments are easy but so numerous and vague that you'll be lost on what she even wants.

This class is awlful!!!! She is confusing, assigns way to much work for what we have to handle for other major classes. The tests are impossible to pass even with studing. If you don't have another class during her extra help sessions which she holds on Thursdays instead of Fridays. Go to them she gives u the answers. If u have class ur screwed.

Hand downs the worst professor I have ever had. Basically, if you give an A effort you will get a B. There are not many classes that are this demanding in order to get an A. Don't take her if you can prevent it.

Confusing system combines points and weighted categories in the most confusing grading I've seen, so you won't really be sure what your grade means til the end. About 6 pages of class rules so don't be surprised if you get half credit for turning an assignment in ontime because you weren't in class.

If you have ADHD, stay away from this teacher. It's too demanding, especially if you have other demanding classes. Oh yeah, she doesn't teach the subject. Essentially you are given a book that is not easy to pay attention to, and you have to teach yourself the subject. Classes consist of pointless group projects. Waste of Money.

Useless,she does not understand SCAD is an art school. She was demanding and confusing at the same time. She has a crazy point system that just adds to the confusion. Stay away!!!

Everything you learn in this class will be straight from the book, not the class itself. Class assignments have little, if anything to do with the subject matter. She grades on the point system, which is infuriating enough to understand on it's own, but will deduct points based on arbitrary distinctions, for example, margins that are not 1 inch.

I thought professor jacobs was great. The class was very interesting. There was a lot of busy work but it wasnt hard. she is a little odd but very nice and the class was fairly easy. just do the work and GO to the help sessions before a test. she practically gives you the answers.
