I loved Cheryl. I thought she was quite funny, and she made a really uninteresting course topic interesting. She's a pretty easy marker when it comes to papers, and our midterm was open book with no final. We were told to buy 2 textbooks, but the one textbook was online, and the other was $30. I didn't do any readings and still ended up with an A-

Cheryl is a nice enough person, seems very caring in lectures. But doesn't use slides in class, and tests are not related to textbook at all. Is not clear at on what she wants for assignments.

I took this class as an elective, and Cheryl kept the class interesting. Would take again. Just don't skip class. Tests are on the notes and stories told in class. She was really friendly outside of class too, and I talked to her multiple times just passing by or at the java hut. Nice lady.

I came into this class not expecting to like it as an elective, but I wound up loving it! She teaches in an engaging way and knows the course material well. Her class notes are more indepth than the text so with good class notes I don't have to read the chapters. Loved her! I might consider another HIST course because of her.

Cheryl is a very good instuctor and knows the course material very well. I think for sure she teaches some of the best courses in the department, she is a pretty fair and reasonable marker although harder at times. Her lectures are interesting and engaging and methods of course evaluation couldn't be too much better.

I've taken a few classes with Cheryl. She's a great teacher - lectures slowly (but not boring) so there's lots of time to take notes. She uses a lot of films and student led seminars during the semester. Really shines a light on her subject. Very kind person, too.

I have had several classes with Cheryl and would say hands down my most enjoyable class every semester! She is a fair marker and has the best lecturers...she always includes humour. In her upper level classes she expects a lot of class participation and usually uses around 3 textbooks but it is always worth it.

Makes taking a history class worth it! She makes the lectures fun and interesting. I always felt like I came away from her lectures with something new to think about. I would recommend taking her class!

I don't agree with some of her views but she is an excellent teacher. Her marking is fair and you come out of the class feeling like you really learned something. I've had 3 classes with her and enjoyed every single one of them! I would recommend her to any person looking to take a History course! She's one of those profs who make it all worth it!

I think only bach of ed students can fully appreciate this class for some unknown reason. I couldn't connect at all with the material or Warsh herself. I couldn't figure out what she wanted on papers or exams...papers I though were good got low marks, and what I thought were bad papers got high marks. I was interested by perpetually confused.

The class could be boring but Cheryl makes it interesting. She uses stories and the class is very interactive so it is easy to learn the material if you listen in class. I would definatly recommend taking any of her classes, shes a super nice woman.

honestly one of the best teachers i've had! shes awesome, fair marker on essays, makes the lectures a lil more interesting by adding humour and at times shes sarcastic which makes class funny. over all a really awesome teacher definetly should take her class. i wish she could be my teacher for every class.
