Comment:

Chen does a decent job of teaching the class. He does teach straight out of the book and he adds interesting information not in it. The book is pretty good for this class though, so if you read on schedule you will probably get bored in class. His biggest problem is he stutters sometimes, but hes better than a lot of other foreign professors.

He is quite difficult to understand and ends up mumbling a great deal. His lecture slides help a bit as a reference. This class is just plain hard no matter what teacher you have, so have fun.

His stutter is extremely bothersome. He relies on a huge Powerpoint display (which help sometimes, but not others). He leaves out a huge stack of printed lecture notes for the class so the note-takling isn't heavy. He really knows his stuff, but doesn't teach it well.

Yeah..I go to get help and i got 2 small questions DURING his office hours, and he says to go to help session tonight. Rude, obnoxious and very inconsiderate of students, in some cases not even telling the average on exams. Plays all dumb he doesnt know..
