Chris was an overall good professor but I feel there could've been a few additional in-class sessions to reinforce the online material. Make sure you go into the test confidently knowing everything as the tests are very difficult!

Exams are little tough. This course is mostly online so you can skip lectures-no big deal. Every week one online quiz and chapter exam. Mostly effort is needed to pass this course because he can't teach much as we meet so less in class. Do not look for solutions online to quiz and exams. It looks easy at first but becomes hard for midterm and final

Networking Technologies 1 is simply taught through Cisco Netacademy, yet Chris is very receptive to students' feedback and their learning progress. Very flexible with midterm makeups and gives good feedback.

Hard to understand. Takes too long to explain easy concepts and keeps beating around the bush. I learned IPv4/6 from a 20 min video. It took him 1.5 hr to explain and I still didn't get where he was going with it. Keeps loudly burping when he talks and makes simple mistakes often. Lectures are SUPER boring and he just follows NETACAD. DO AVOID!!!

Very good teacher! His exams are somewhat tricky for this course but he teaches very well. Marks you according to effort put in (you can still get 100% if you get some answers wrong but generally know what you are doing). Explains things well and draws pictures for those visual learners. Overall very good prof.

Gave him a 3 for clarity only because he has a very entertaining stutter. Honestly, I like the guy, and he's totally aware that most people are just taking this class for the applied science credit, which is reflected in his teaching. Easy credits.

I felt sorry for him. This was a class that most of us were forced to take due to degree requirements, and there was just no way to keep everybody interested, except for the older people who were clueless about computers. Very easy class, I got an A with minimal effort.

Great networking teacher, lousy Java teacher.... Had him 3 times already 2 networking classes and now java in btech program. uses overheads a lot.... good for networking, lousy for java. not 100% sure if he knows java or not.

Java class. Doesn't teach out of the book. Uses an overhead instead of a comp to teach (really pissed me off). Sometimes hard to follow (his MC questions are sometimes confusing), but he gives helpful notes. Assignments throught semester, 2 quizzes, 1 midterm, a group project and a final.
