Best prof on campus. There for you, wants to help you in school or in life. Such an amazing person. Dr. V really wants his students and advisees to succeed! His tests are fair, it reflects the material covered in class. He is also a very fair grader!

Amazing man and prof. Very engaging with cool demos often. Has a wisecrack sense of humor that makes getting up at 9 a.m. worth it. Also very generous with extra credit. I've had questions where I should've gotten 0 pts and he gave me 1/2 of the points instead. The lab is dull but lecture makes it worth it.

Dr. V is the best teacher I have had at Hillsdale College. He is the most caring professor and actually wants you to succeed. If you're willing to do the work you can get an A. His tests are difficult but he is great with partial credit as long as you try. Lots of homework but you learn a lot.

I LOVE Dr. V!!! I would do homework outside his office and he would come out repeatedly to make sure I was getting it. And just to raz me, too;) It was a hard class for me because I didn't have chemistry in high school, but his dynamic and hilarious personality coupled with hard work on the part of the student is sure to be a success.
