Elitist? Ithink not, if you actually LISTEN to her talk she discusses how much she loves canada and dislikes the conservative us. And another thing, she does demand brrain activity , no big suprise considering this is a liberal arts university -- youre supposed to think! If you're not understanding a concept, she's more than happy to help you,

like someone already said 'unorganized yet she demands perfection', her class was tedious (portfolios of all these terms she had due dates for but could never get back to you) but the overall experience was good, i learned her husband was a cool proff too as he was there just as much as she was, maybe ill take somethin from him

she's a good lecturer and very compassionate and approachable to students. She's very big on respect and if you can gain it with her you're alright. She's a bit hard of a paper marker but if you talk with her you'll be fine. If you find she's really a challange, you should rethink your major.

This is a great class. She is very aproachable, and is one of the best history proffs I had. If you find this class hard, the you shouldn't be taking history.

Stayed for a couple of weeks. Couldn't stand her. Very unprepared and scattered. but expected perfection. Needs a PhD. before she should be able to teach again. Enough with the family already. This was supposed to be a feminst class!
