Comment:
Prof. Daniels is very lazy and un-prepared. Although I had completed each of the assignments on their assigned due dates, I didn't receive a grade on major assignments until TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE FINAL-- and this was because of the class literally begging for grades, as we didn't want to go into the final exam not knowing what our scores would be.

This professor is the most useless human being i have ever conversed with. she never teaches anything close to what were learning and talks to her students like they are two years old. i cannot stand being in her class. dont expect to ever know what youre doing in the class and she uses way too many websites. dont take her class.

She's a nice lady, and is aware of what she talks about, but the work she assigns is ridiculous. And since she only holds class once a week (something not even that) you're on your own for the majority of it.

A lot of reading, but not impossible to do. You're tested on over-arching concepts, so the lectures seem obscure until midterm/final comes around. Lectures can be boring because you don't know what is relevant to pay close attention to, but all-in-all not a bad professor.

She never answers her email, good luck getting in touch with her if you need to (like say for H-opt). Her lectures are pointless as she goes off topic so often. Really did not like her

Professor Daniels definitely knows her stuff, but she goes very off track during lectures. It is pointless to email her because you will almost never receive a reply. She's very unorganized and it makes studying for the midterm and final very difficult.

She definitely knows what she's talking about, but getting her to answer her emails is impossible. Very frustrating. Otherwise, I really enjoyed her class.

Comment:
At the beginning of the course, I was enthralled to have this professor. She was so enthusiastic and made the lecture more interesting. As midterms and finals began to come up (which were essay format), I found myself heavily relying on the TA, to discuss material that we hadn't discussed in class but would be tested on. Frustrating situation.

I loved her class and her! The work is easy, you do NOT have to crack a book as long as you attend class-which is interesting, fun, and goes by fast. I have never been very interested in history but she made it approachable and fun. I totally miss her class, as emabarssing as that is.

She makes class extremely interesting, and the only thing mandatory about attendance is that by missing class you miss out on her great explanations. She gets off topic sometimes but is hilarious, laid back and has so much fun everytime she comes to class.

She's hilarious, and always full of bubbling energy--she makes boring subjects more fun just with they way she says things. She's very nice, and sarcastic, and clueless with the computer--which she laughs at herself about. She loves random questions and tangents that go on for twenty minutes...She's awesome.
