Christine was an awesome professor. I was hesitant to take this class as I am not someone who is interested in science, but needed a gned from this cluster. Her course was 3 tests and 1 quiz, and her tests were straight forward. You will get a good grade if you show up to her lectures, take thorough notes, and study for the tests! Very awesome prof

This class was definitely only great because of Chris. I had a hard time coming to class on time, but she is very interesting to listen to which made having 8:30's less of a drag. The second half of the sem is mostly group presentations. Show up to class because attendance counts as 10% of your overall grade. Overall, a great professor.

Her class is so straight forward and transparent. Chris will tell you exactly what she expects of you and basically everything she writes on the board is test material which is very helpful. I finished this class with an A+ without buying the textbook and no prior knowledge about primatology. She is so inspirational that I look forward to attending

Chris is one of the best profs I've had. She's caring, hilarious and tells you exactly what she expects and exactly what to study. There are no surprises in her exams, its literally everything she talks about. You definitely need to come to the lectures though, lots of info in them, if you don't you'll be lost trying to read the whole text book.

Chris is great! She is very passionate about her students and wants them to succeed. You will have to be willing to go to class because she is a classic lecturer (no PP all talk), but it's pretty straight forward. Lots of video content which was a change. Highly Recommend

This is my 2nd class with Chris, and she's amazing. She's funny, logical, and passionate about her lectures. She doesn't use powerpoint or take attendance. Her exams are fairly easy if you attend class and take good notes. Everyone should take this class, it was very educational and touches on current events in Canada.

Very nice prof, marks very quickly and fairly. Attendance is mandatory as midterm content is based off lectures. There are very few course readings and most of the course is based off social issues. Fairly easy gned to take so get into her class if you can.

One of the best classes I've ever taken. Show up to class because she writes everything on the board and gives you the explanations which will be used in the test. Very few readings from textbook and tells some really interesting and funny stories. Only class so far that I have taken which lets the class vote on test format.

love Chris, always happy. doesnt post notes on bb, so go to class. Shes a classic lecturer, she talks- you write. it sounds intimidating but she goes over important things slowly, repeats stuff. if you skip you will not pass. we never used the text, the skippers missed out on the info she taught that comprised the tests and probably did bad on tests

If I ever take another anthropology course I would take it with Christine. Shes so upbeat and excited when it comes to the material, which I think is important to keep students engaged. If you study its a fairly average course. She doesnt take attendance and doesnt care if you come or not, however missing her lectures will only hurt your grade.

Loved going to Christine's class, she is an excellent prof! Knowledgeable, caring, and funny. Made the class engaging and interesting. My biggest suggestion for the class is to take good notes. She doesn't post content on BB and I found test questions to often be things she specifically talked about in class. I also didn't use the textbook once.

Chris is one of those teachers that gives students the benefit of the doubt. She really wants to see you do well in her class and it is very possible to do so as her lectures are incredibly organized and interesting. In her class you will always know what to expect. Sad to see this class end this term!

Chris is a great prof, the class was super fun. I took it during the spring semester but the 3 hour class went by super fast because the class was actually interesting. Everything she puts on the board and says in class is really all you need for the exams and tests, just pay attention and come to class and you will pass.

Hilarious, kind, and engaging. She writes her notes on the chalkboard, and doesn't post them on BB - so class is mandatory. Her exams are based on her notes, and videos - I didnt open the textbook and I got an A. She's a great teacher, and I'd take any class with her! You do need to study hard, cause the material isn't easy.

Chris is amazing. Hands down one of my favourite profs. She is very accommodating and wants her students to do well. Her final group project she does grade pretty hard on the essay IMO, but her attendance is only mandatory during the presentation weeks. As long as you take good notes and pay attention this class is a safe bet for a good mark.
