Mid-term is hard. Basically about the stuff that you learned the week before. Finals are easy as long as you study. She has a nasty attitude, but she will try to answer all the questions you ask. Make sure you do her homework and in-class assignment they are just like her exams.

I took ACC511 and ACC512 with her. Classes are extremely hard, but she is the best Walsh's professor I've had so far. I would recommend to read the textbooks before coming to the class, otherwise you'll be lost. The handouts she provides are the key to success in these classes. She covers everything during the lecture. Use CPA books for training.

I took this class 4 years ago, and she was very knowlegeable and got her students well prepared. She was good in 411 also, but recording the class does help a lot. overall, practice and repetition are the keys to her class, and if you get it, you will do well in her class.

I was terrified to take this teacher, but I was wrong. She is sharp, knows her stuff, and she is one of Walsh's best acctg professors. She never insulted anyone, although you can tell she is very confident. It did appear she "bit" her tongue a few times to limit her comments. BTW- it's acctg, its's supposed to be hard!

She's been at Walsh since the Jurassic Period, and her lectures reflect that. It's unbelievable that Walsh doesn't have a different professor teaching this course. 411 is the toughest course in the BACC program, it's unfortunate you have to be stuck w/ such a terrible professor.

Not my favorite professor. She picks her favorites, and those are the ones giving her a good rating. She literally ignores questions, never asks for confirmation that the class understands a topic and provides no guidance. There is a HUGE difference between a tough teacher and an awful teacher. This one is awful.

Her potential to be a good teacher is unfortunately offset by the fact that she is such a rude and condescending woman. Further, while she has a good grasp on the specific problems and examples she uses to teach, she is absolutely unable to answer questions outside of these exact examples that she has been using for the last 20 years.

It seems like professors who teach hard classes never get high ratings. She's a great professor, one of the best at Walsh. Reading the textbook is barely necessary because she teaches better than the textbook. Don't expect to breeze through the class but she teaches you more than enough stuff to get an A.

I've taken both 511 & 512 with her. She's a GREAT professor who REALLY knows her stuff. She gives you notes on everything she talks about and pretty much TELL you what will be tested. Demanding classes, but if you pay attention and work hard enough it's very possible to get good grades. I got an A in both. Take her!!

She is not a friendly teacher. This was seriously the quiestest class I have taken at Walsh so far. She did not like questions, and on more than one occassion she made me feel as if I was annoying her by asking a question. I passed that class not because of her teaching ability but because of my friend's ability to help me.

I think that this professor is excellent. She knows the material very well and explains only what is essential to learn. I have never heard her make fun of a student for asking a question. You have to work hard to earn a good grade but she gives you the tools that you need to suceed. All the people that are complaining are lame!

She does a good job presenting the material, but you do have to teach yourself quite a bit. Her exams are designed to fail you. An outrageous amount of material on them. Take any other professor if you can. Not a good experience at all. Needs to retire.

Not a good teacher. She appears to know her stuff but I think its just because she has been here for so long. This would probably be an easier class if you didn't have to teach everything to yourself. She has actually walked away from me as she was answering a question. Not very enthusiastic about teaching either.

She knows equity method consolidated financial statements through and through, and she teaches well. The class is really hard and is meant to divide those who can & those who can't. I recommend a TUTOR! Private individual & weekend group tutoring. It is worth it to pay for tutor than bomb the mid-term, drop class, & take & pay tuition all over again.

She's a good teacher. She explains alot, and goes on for 4 hours. Not sure if you can relate to what she's saying after 2 hours of class She doesn't look at you in the eye if you talk to her, and she loves embarrassing you in front of everyone for stupid questions asked. Take her if you have to, otherwise DROP HER. She needs to retire & go shopping

Acts like she hates students (can't ever wait for the quarter to be over). No real experience. I will drop out if I have to take her 1 more time. She seems to explain things in class, but then I'd go home and not be able to do homework. passed (with B)only with help of tutors.

Good teacher overall for a difficult class. She provides an extremely structured class and I did really well. Probably one of the coldest teachers I have ever taken. Weirdly she reminds me of the devil from the movie "The Devil Wares Proda".
