For online FIN 310 classes with this guy beware... quizlet, chegg, or course hero WILL NOT help you on the exams at all. All of the questions on the exams are google proof. Be prepared to study study study. He is a super easy grader on assignments, but Assignment are barely worth anything compared to his super tough 3 exams.

BEWARE. I had a 3.9 GPA until taking his online class. Test are super obscure. I am not sure the information is in the books at all and if it isn't you better remember the video lectures word for word. Definitely one of my worst experiences and learned very little.

Be careful taking the class online. The grading portions are very skewed 3 exams make up the bulk of your grade. Did a massive amount of studying for the exams only to barely pass the exams with a curve. The exams are very tricky and difficult and will make or break you.

I took Professor Todd online for finance 310. Finance is not my thing, but it wasn't as bad as I expected! I was nervous going in to this class since the whole course is out of 200 points. 3 tests150 points, two videos reports worth 5 points each, two discussions worth 5 points each, and two quizzes on the Faber book worth 15 points each.

Professor Todd teaches a difficult class, his lectures are helpful. Just make sure you READ and OUTLINE the chapters in order to get a good grade. 2 discussions and 2 video reports worth 5 points only, 2 true/false quizzes on the Faber book worth 15 points, the rest of the points come from 3 exams worth 50 points. He DOES curve around 6% on exams.

The midterm had a lot of chapters involved, but the class is graded on a curve and he weighs everything when it comes to grades. Class was not easy, but not real hard either. Online classes use lecture notes as well as chapter work so as long as you are on top of things each week you will do amazing. Very good professor!

Professor Todd really cares for his students. He takes his time on his lectures and hands out PowerPoint slides to follow along. Tests are based on PowerPoint slides. Show up, take notes and you will pass his class.

He did not seem prepared to teach the online class - he changed the syllabus without letting anyone know, there were constantly errors in the online material he posted and he never was the one that actually gave the lectures. He used other professors lectures and homework and the exams are WAY more difficult than the material.

Exams were tricky and lectures were long but interesting. Not a hard grader but grades depended mostly on the 3 exams. 500 word discussions/video reports were interesting but only worth 3 pts. He cares what his students learn and has endless knowledge about finance which made lectures cool.

I had the class online, Professor Todd's Lecture were very good, very clear. The class followed the syllabus and there were no surprises. The material is challenging, but if you do the problems and practice test you will have no problems. Professor Todd answers questions very thoroughly and timely.

Professor Todd is great, but expect to work hard in this class if you want a good grade. Literally, 82% of your grade comes from the 3 50-question exams. Homework is assigned but not graded. Lectures are incredibly informative and interesting. Overall, this is a great class.

This was a tough class. Took online. You have to practice the homework & take the practice quizzes if you want to pass the exams. The online lectures are helpful, but the meat of the formulas is again, in the homework. Your grade will be comprised of 4 exams and 3 discussions. So there are not a lot of points to make up after 1 bad exam.

Todd FIN 310 Online Grading distribution is very poor, otherwise the class is fine. 90min for a 50 question test. 3 Tests make up 82% of the grade. Most answers come from the online lectures, some from the bookonline. Some questions very tricky. Very little homework. Class is tough, but still got an A. Awarded 4% bonus on tests mid-semester.

Took this class online. He had very little activities except the tests. It was entirely up to you to read the text and get whatever information you could out of it. The exams were not very clear and were hard. If you are not a good test taker do not take this class with him. There are no other ways to get points.
