Christine is a great reference for your resume. I was an Illustration student who learned a lot from her Fibers and bookmaking class. I now have a strong interest in Fibers and Artists books. She is extremely knowledgeable, however her pretensious attitude about herself and work is extremely unflattering to such a bright mind she has.

She is difficult and very obviously picks her favorites in class. Her rough personality is hard to get along with. She is often cold with a supremacist attitude and also very condescending. Dont get on her bad side! She is very knowledgeable and will drive you to work hard, but at the same time you will hate her guts.

Not only does she have the worst breath but she loves to ruin your day and try to break you down unless you are one her favorites. If it wasn't for the assistants and some of the fibers majors I porbably wouldn't be here. She truly acts like she is fab and you must obey her.

Tells you you have one of the highest grades in class in mid semester and give you a B. Follows her ideas for the final and then says shouldn't have done it this way. Unless you're her favorite don't bother, and if you're not an art major don't bother either.

This class was a lot more challenging than I'd thought it would be. She does have expectations and you'd better meet 'em. She pushed me and I did great work. We had a huge class and she seemed to be away occassionally, but the assistants were always there and often helpful.

Takes a personal approach with students. Gets involved. A great teacher and wonderful artist. Don't think you'll get away with the "craft" approach just because it's papermaking. She wants depth in your work.

she tends to pick favorites... and you can go through the entire class without her speaking to you personally. It's very frustrating. Also- she wears sleeveless shirts... not a goood things.. you'll see what I Mean.
