I had Professor Cakebread for his Introduction to Advertising course this past, and I loved it. Professor Cakebread is an expert in his field and is extremely passionate about teaching his students and ensuring they understand the material. Professor Cakebread is willing to hear students out with regards to grades and allows them to argue why they

Cakebread teaches you so much about the environment of an ad agency. Everything I learned in his class was so helpful when I got my first internship. He's also a good professor and willing to help. So what if he's a bit sassy sometimes? Cakebread is great, and the class is an easy A.

Cakebread is my boy. People are overly harsh because they don't go see him during office hours. HE IS SO HELPFUL DURING OFFICE HOURS. He really does want you to learn and is extremely knowledgeable. He is really blunt so I don't recommend him if you're easily intimidated.

Comment:
Had a terrible experience in Cakebread's class. He is disorganized and unnecessarily sassy at times to students, which turns the class environment into one long rant by him since students are too scared to speak up. He teaches only to the project, ignores the syllabus structure, and starts class (an 8am lecture) ten minutes early.

He's a confusing guy. I got an A, but I think it's because I got lucky a few times in a row. He's incredibly unclear in his lectures, grading criteria, and feedback. He rambles on and on, often about material that doesn't matter to the course. We only read four chapters from the book, which is dumb. And worst, I didn't feel like I learned anything.

Upon arriving to the first class, I was under the impression that it would be a fun and interesting session. I was wrong. Cakebread was never clear about what he expected, was often rude to his students, and went off on tangents that had nothing to do with course material. Take this class if you want to be confused, frustrated, and dissatisfied.

Prof Cakebread is a chill guy. He tells you what he wants and the if you provide, you will do well. The tests are anything he goes over in class. Not that hard, just a curveball question once in a while. The class isn't crazy amazing, but it's not horrible either. He only knows you go by the sign-in sheet, so someone else can alway sign you in.

Cakebread's lectures can definitely be boring, but it is an easy class. The tests are really straightforward, and he doesn't put anything on them that you didn't already go over. The group project takes up some time, and you better like your group, or else it will be a long semester.

What Cakebread will teach you about the industry by far is more valuable than any of the class material. He has real experience in the field and loves to share it. Though the class itself is straightforward, you will learn so much extra invaluable information. Plus he's super enthusiastic, which is nice in the mornings.

Kind of disappointed with his class. I didn't mind the 8am so much, but it bothered me that he spent most classes on material that we didn't need to know. We watched a lot of videos and had a lot of quest speakers. He would also mostly teach to the project - which was unclear.

In addition to forgetting to print out half of our midterm and doing absolutely nothing about it, he provides little to no help during office hours. Though he is energetic and half of the class time is spent watching Youtube videos, his condescending attitude towards students is a major reason why I would recommend not taking the class with him.

crazy enthusiastic for an 8am class. knows what he's talking about but a lot of material isn't applicable to the class. lectures aren't that interesting but guest lecturers are usually awesome. the project is a ton of fun. the exams were oddly tough.

Witty, engaging, knowledgeable. Grades very fairly. Straightforward tests from notes/lectures. Very smart, experienced guy who can be intimidating. Don't be afraid to speak up in class but also don't ask stupid questions since he doesn't like that. Don't be an idiot, pay attention, show creativity, work hard in the group project and you're golden.

Cakebread is a great professor who I would take again and again if I could. Very funny and straightforward. Sometimes lectures are bit pointless, but overall, he knows a lot about the ad industry and brings many alumni in to network with. Great, practical class that provided entertainment throughout the week as well.

Class is very straightforward and interesting. I love Cakebread's teaching style. Exams are easy and straightforward if you study your notes. Final project is AWFUL though. It is an obnoxious amount of work and he isn't very clear on his expectations.

Take him! Makes class so interesting and explains the concepts very clearly. Doesn't just teach out of the textbook, shows real life campaigns and interactive videos he thinks students will enjoy. Big final project, one midterm, one final, and a few small assignments. Definitely recommend:)
