He's great! You WILL have to work in this class and he's a pretty difficult grader, but he knows a lot about his subject and is very dedicated to student learning. He has been one of my favorite professors at Mizzou. He's so funny and really cares about his students.

An awesome teacher that takes the time to explain the material. Very cool personality and quite hilarious. Only way someone could get below and A-B range is if they never read or attend class. One of my favorite courses in college be far!

He is an incredible teacher, extremely knowledgeable and fascinating to listen to. He expects a lot from his students but is very reasonable. He wants that his students succeed and takes a personal interest in their education. The coursework is fascinating and I highly recommend him. I got an A- in his class and am taking a second class from him.

He is knowledgeable, cares greatly about his subject area, and also cares greatly about the success and learning of his students. Yes, the work is hard and frequent, but the experience is worth it for anyone wanting to take a meaningful class that will broaden your literary horizons. Does NOT answer emails, unorganized, arrogant, and INCREDIBLY hard grader. This class is NOTHING like i thought it would be, I sacrificed sleep (took an 8 am) to take this class, and I am DISAPPOINTED. He thinks he's funny, but is very dull.
