I often feel in Pickles' courses like I am stumbling around in the dark. Pickles has a lot of potential, but what he needs is a new textbook to replace his half-decade of photocopies and to organize his very cluttered course. He also needs to checkup on what it is we learned in firest year.

I don't think he knows what we have been tought in first year chem. or first semester mining. He's overlapping boring subjects we learned last year very slowly and going into a lot of detail. Good guy if you have questions, very clear speaker.

Great Teacher, helps you out when needed. Really likes what he's teaching and is willing to take the time necessary to make you understand the material. Labs are far too long and boring. Perhaps if there were 2 or 3 of them a semester it would be better
