He's extremely sweet and gives us many treats. I thought I was going flunk because I missed like 5 classes but he gave me a really good grade. He's such a sweetheart. Seriously, I recommend him as a history professor.

He's a great guy. Very passionate about History & really cares about his students. Gave us cookies and chocolate during midterm week :) No papers but 4 tests: 1 essay question each test. Make sure you're a fast note-taker, bring a laptop and do the readings.

Teaches every class like its a graduate level class. Lots of reading, i.e. 600 page book a week, but the reading is well thought out and his analysis of the reading is top notch. Fair grader, loves the subject matter and that is important and it shows. Would definitely take him again.

I really enjoyed his class. Made me love history again. He's an intelligent guy who prepares for each class. I liked that he handed out topic guidelines before every class, made it easier to study. Just don't like some of the assigned readings/novels.

Ok I dunno what everyone else was talking about. I took him for West Enligh. and he was sooo good. He always let us out like a half hour early and was very very intelligent. He really knew his stuff and showed us really interesting videos.
